Guide to
OneClick

What is OneClick?
A good introduction to OneClick.

What Are Floating Palettes?
If you aren't sure what floating palettes are or why they're cool, read this section.

OneClick's Standard Palettes
OneClick ships with several palettes that will quickly become indispensable.

How Does it Work?
OneClick isn't magic -- though it may seem like it.

What Can I Do With OneClick?
Here are a few of the things I do with OneClick. The limits are your imagination.

Working With OneClick
OneClick makes modifying buttons and palettes easy!

Don't Be Shy!
Thinking 'programming' sounds scary? Don't be. Scripting OneClick is easy!

Is It Perfect?
No program is perfect. Here are a few of the glitches, bugs, and problems with OneClick. None are insurmountable, but you should be aware of them.

"What in the world is that?"

That's what people ask me when they see my computer screen flooded with dozens of cool floating palettes. Their jaws drop when I show them what OneClick can do.

But I get tired of explaining the same things over and over again, so I decided to create a OneClick Fan Page so everyone can read all about OneClick from a satisfied user's perspective.

Note that OneClick is written and sold by WestCode Software. I'm not affliated with WestCode in any way. I just love their product.

OneClick is the utility. It's more Mac-like than the Mac! In fact, if I had to choose between my Mac and OneClick... well, let's just say that I'm greatly relieved I don't have to make that decision.

Find out more!
Interested in OneClick? It's not a program that can be explained in a few sentences. Hence I've created a little introduction to guide you through the basics of OneClick. Follow it through and when you're finished, you should know whether or not OneClick is the utility for you. The first section is called What is OneClick? It's a must read!

For other news, check out WestCode Software, the Mac Tutorials site (which has some great OneClick guides), and the Button Circle (where you can download free palettes and scripts).

The Future?
This site is currently an experiment. I simply want to promote OneClick -- it's a unique Mac-only application that exemplifies everything the Macintosh is about. I want this to be a place OneClick fans can send people to introduce them to the basics of OneClick.

Eventually I may publish some tutorials, scripts, and my own palettes here. It depends on the interest and my time. (I have lots of palettes and scripts, but few are ready for prime time. They need to be polished and refined before I can release them.)
